I am not sure what the trivia question is but part of the answer is Nearco who sired Royal Charger who sired Turn To who sired Roberto and Sir Gaylord. Nearco also sired Neareatic who gave us Northern Dancer who gave us Nijinsky, Neuryev and Sadlers Wells.

Nearco also gave us Nasrullah who gave us Bold Ruler who gave us Secretariat and Boldnesian. Boldnesian gave us Bold Reasoning who gave us Seattle Slew.

Smile triva answer

NEARCO a foal of 1935 from italy sired

1) the foundation sire NEARCTIC = NORTHERN DANCER

2) the foundation sire NASRULLAH=BOLD RULER

which in turn NORTHERN DANCER & BOLD RULER also became foundation sires.....
--------------------------------------
those are the 5 foundation sires
the above is the correct answer

Triva

Witch Doctor Was In The Right Church But The Sequence Was Wrong.....yes..nearco Offsprings Were His But Not All Of Them Were Foundation Sires Or Sire Of Sires

Yes....seattle Slew Was A Foundation Sire But He Came After Bold Ruler And Northern Dancer
------------------------------------------------------
But Seeing He Was In The Right Church And No One Else Was,i Award Him The Prize Of "master Handicapper"

P.s To Witch Doctor...i Was In The Paddock That August For The Hopeful At Saratoga In 1953 And We Beat "turn To" That Day & I Got My Picture Taken..oh, He Ran 3rd That Day

Foundation sires

Name that genius who gave us both Nearco and Ribot.

They run a stakes race in his honor at Santa Anita.

I have a broodmare book collection where they rate all north american racehorses with ratings from low digits to over 100.

Secretariat (Chef de Race') 131
