WELL I HATE TO TELL U YOU ARE WRONG
"ROUND TABLE WON THE 1959 "ARLINGTON HANDICAP" UNDER A 132 LBS & BROKE THE TRACK RECORD BY 4/5 SECOND BEATING "MANASSAS" BY A HEAD.MANASSAS PROBABLY PAID $15 TO PLACE.YOU KNOW IT WAS 48 YEARS AGO & YOU DID PRETTY GOOD.I REMEMBER THAT RACE >ROUND TABLE WAS IN FRONT THE WHOLE TRIP & MANASSAS CAME FLYING THE LAST 1/8 MILE BUT "SHOEMAKER" PUT HIM UNDER "STRONG URGING" (NO WHIP) & I DONT BELIEVE MANASSAS COULD EVER GET BY HIM..hh) tro(

(Answer to question)

Caught a ton of Pros…here’s how…

I also played in some other WSOP events.

1st one was at New Orleans about a month ago.. Captain Tom Franklin and I were toe to toe most of the day. I was near the money in the 5K event, but his pair of AA’s took my AK suited and all the money. I out lasted Chris Moneymaker who was at a table next to me, but didn’t make it as long as Phil Gordon who was also next table to me. He actually was down to $500 in chips and through an amazing lucky streak doubled up about 6 times and finished the tournament in 4th!!

2nd. Was in a 5K 6 handed event in a Las Vegas WSOP that had me in seat 2 next to seat 1 take ERIC SIDEL. Erick was low on chips, but rebounded and made it a few hours longer than me.
I was moved to a table where Men the Master was chip leader and his 5 6 found a straight and took me out with my QQ pair.

3rd. Was in a 1000K rebuy with Mizzi (Number 1 in the world Internet player and immediately to my left I caught Jeffrey Lasandro who was second in points for Player of the year. He and I hit it off right away and he called me later to invite Jay and I to dinner but we couldn’t due to time issues. I went out to someone there defending JJ’s.

The WSOP cost me another 10K. In the hall Jay took pictures of everyone you could possibly name that has Pro status. I mean everyone from Texas Dolly to Jennifer Tilly, Annie Duke, and even Shannon Elizabeth, and I was lucky enough to be in a few of them myself. One of my favorites is a picture of me and Mike Sexton. We had a nice chat.

When I was knocked out both Jay and I took the loss HARD. We were sick..really.. It wasn’t the money but rather we both thought that I would at minimum make the money and a much better showing in the Poker World. I had been on quite a roll before these losses. I even took 3rd for 28K at Poker Stars after going through 1,996 other players before we arrived. It was very depressing, but a some hours later we were in the Sports Book watching our horses win and all was OK.

Next Year perhaps….
