Hi all,
Been a lurker for a while. Just wanted to know has anyone had any experience with dailyhandicappingcontests.com? I see they are giving away seats to the '07 HWS. Just want to check if its a legit site or what.

Thanks,
Xtra Heat

I was on that site just after it started. It seems they are on the up and up, but so far I've only played a couple free contest to get the feel for the site. I believe they just started real money contests, but I haven't checked it out since.

I did notice they are running constant ads in the Daily Racing Form (and not in the classified section).

Hope this helps and good luck.

I've played some contests there since January. They had a free contest period with every contest averaging 150-200 participants. After they started the money entry mode (from $25 to $10), people just went away! They still have some free contests and you can see those filled up with contestants while the other ones are almost empty. It seems to me like people prefer to play for free. Anyways the concept is good, but the prizes right now are really low. You might want take those $25 and play a Pick 3 instead of getting $100 bucks prize.

Thanks for the replies, guys. The HWS seat is most intriguing, though. If the competition is that low it might be an easy way to get to Vegas... Looks like their pay contests are getting more people, though. Again, if there is not much competition then it should be easier to take the purses, right? Hmm....

yes, i have now tried it out. their software is very good, probably one of the best i've seen for contests. i had to email their customer service and they replied very quickly, which was a bonus. from their homepage it seems like they really want input from the players. so far i'd say thumbs up!

It's a nice site for contest players. Know a few players that have made a few bucks playing already but of course they're contest junkies. lol

I enjoy playing an occasional contest, but it can interfere with real wagering. I made the mistake of missing a nice payoff after getting caught up in a contest...not a good feeling!

P.S. Friend of mine works the customer service dept. She's a pro..expect great service.
