I think it would be a valueable piece of information to know when a horse or colt has been gelded.Sometime a new gelding is omited in the racing form and other PPs.A race saturday,aqu.9th,the # 2 horse ,from Steve Assmussen's barn went gate to wire @$13.00 for the win.A new gelding.
Also you could evaluate in the PPs weather gelding an animal has helped or not, after seeing how he has proformed since.
any thoughts guys/gals.

Like your idea T-Bone NY racing is pretty goog about announcing geldings,I usually ignore it from a handicapping point of view...Perhaps there is an angle there I am not awre of...Like 1sy or 2nd time lasix....Should be interesting in any event..Thanks

I and the CHRB got the Jockey Club to do better requiring the information and Ca rules were tightened up on trainers and tracks. You need to push your state commission and track to get tougher on the reporting. See www.jockeyclub.com- there is a webpage link to the new forms.
