I love reading your picks each day; I have won a little using them but my question is what advice do you have for someone who cant take more than 20 or 30 to the track each day. I love watching the races and I have hit 9 out of the 15 pick 4's that I have tried just betting them straight. I find that most of the time when I wheel the bets I almost spend half my bankroll on a single bet. would it be more adventagious for me to do show bets on the favorites instead?

Any advice is welcome (except "stay away from the track")

tickets then you're a savant ... or the luckiest man on the planet not named Karl Rove.

My advice to neophytes: never key a closer on dirt no matter what the pace scenario looks like. They'll flatten.

I hit the Santa Anita Place pick all today on a straight but feel that the payout should have been higher.

That was the only thing that I hit today though

From reading your post, it looks to me that you can now afford to take more than 20 or 30 bucks to the track. But don't have to. It also looks like you should be giving information, not asking for it.

i agree, if you're hitting pick 4's, you should be holding seminars around the country. but if you're truly a 20-30 type of better, like myself, my advise is to bet your win tickets first to build your bank a bit and then you can roll into the exotics.
