For this angle you don't even need a program!
Go to the paddock and look to see who is in there with their horses. If the people are dressed up it often means they want to look good for the picture. You can also look to see if the horse's hair is braided.
One note-- Assmussen horses are always braided.
Figure if somebody took the time to braid the hair - they must have a good reason.

That's funny; I used to get scrubby to throw people off....people do notice. But Sunday I did put on my first genuine Cuban Shirt which was part of an inside joke, expecting a win. Got it but then we had three in so it would be difficult to figure which one I had the shirt on for. Then not actually appearing in the picture made the picture all the more muddy. Sometimes it isn't as easy as it looks....but that is a funny point that is very valid for some of the people some of the time!!
Somebody told me braided mane was a dead give away- that the barn had a female groom!LOL!!
I would have to have hard stats for those 2 angles!
Now if the trainer's in-laws were dressed up special...

I agree, however their is a little more to it. Look for the woman who is with her husband, if she is dressed nice with nice shoes and stands off to the side away from the horse until her husband moves away, this is a good bet. Also, notice the tote board, odds should drop some. Be careful, this is not a good angle in Alw or Stakes races. Why? Gee, you will find more than one woman in the paddock. I catch all of these!
