good afternoon fellow cappers and Footballers!!!

Been waiting anxiously to post the "mens" NFL selections, as everyone knows, our pony-picks have been less than desireable, however, we've been pretty darn "hot" playing NFL and college football. Today we STRONGLY like our picks and here they are:

NFC Championship game we are playing New Orleans +3 (sprtsbook) and are looking for an outright win. The only question mark we have is the "snowy" weather. We did not like how they played against the Giants in the cold and wind. However, WE did not like how the Bears Defense played against a less than 100% 'Hawks offense. Shaun Payton is in very good rhythem calling games and we EXPECT no different today. Look for Reggie Bush and Marques Colston to have a strong impacts. We also understand that we are going against the grain with the last 9 Dome teams have lost outdoors.....Caveat Emptor

AFC Championship

Again, a very STRONG opinion. We are taking the Colts -3 to beat the INCREDIBLE NEW England Pats. We realize this is also going against the trend of Tom Brady whom we picked to beat the Chargers last week straight up also, didn't even have close to a Tom Brady game. This is Peyton Manning's year to shine, no pressure up until today as the Colt's were under the "radar" when the playoffs began. We think this will be a high-scoring game with the Manning's beatng the Brady's by 7-12 points.

as a bonus we are playing small both overs in the game. The Bears/Saints total is 42.5 and in the Colts/Pats game 47.5.

good luck to all and enjoy what should be 2 great games!!!

with all the "words" used in explaing our selections, forgot to mention that Rodney Harrison not playing for N. England could end up being a HUGE factor for the Colt receiver's going across the middle without any fear.....

I thought football season was over when the Eagles snatched defeat from the hands of the New Orleans Football Team.

the wise men will double up on indy in an effort to come out of today on the upside.we normally dont like to chase our money after defeat, but we do feel the colts were the stronger of our 2 plays today.---good luck to all.

Well that last game was from a FB fan's view a great game to watch. The Colts pulled a Pat's playoff type comeback.Saints wanted to give it away but the Bears took it away and spanked that buttttttro( to the winners may we have a great Super Bowl

Scottsdad, you are truly right... and, I suppose that comeback by Indy will have to be one of the stories of the year, won't it?

just wanted to "add" some thoughts on yesterday's games. Anybody who was rooting for as a fan or just financially on the Saints had to be excited at 16-14 Bears, the Saints had a first down on the Bears 30, all the momentum and as stated on the post, playing in rhythm...then they went 3 and out, missed a FG and went totally south, turnovers and all.

the second game was a classic game, where P. Manning FINALLY got over the hurdle of making the SuperBowl. This game will be on Classic Sports this week. The Wise-men had to almost eat some crow again, being down 21-3 late 2nd QTR. and doubling up our bet. We ended up covering the 3 with 1 whole point to spare!!!! As a side and was posted, we also hit a small parlay on both game totals going over. Two weeks till the Bowl, we will get our thinking caps on for some creative wagers...good luck to all!!
