... Since Feb 15th Bill Mott has won 9 races on the turf...He won 5 Saturday..
...3 at Gulfstream and.. 2 at Tampa....The highest price was $15.60 with a $1 exacta paying $68 the lowest price was $5.40 having happened twice...I sent an E-mail to the racing form to see if it might be a NorthAmerican record for 5 turf wins in a day...I dont have the data on how many he sent at but in any event its a very high rate..............As I mentioned last week most of these horses have been Payson Park, and this non journalist beleives it is probably the best training track in Florida...Watch for horses shipping from Florida to New York in the coming weeks...If they have Payson Works they are threats regardless of the times..........good luck..if anyone can come up with more data please add to this ......Thanks

Bill Mott is the hottest trainer in racing right now, especially on the grass, and
kudos must be given to Frankie Eifel of Tampa Bay Downs, who has been all
over this angle from the get-go.Young Frankie is a turf racing Guru!
With Bailey retired,Mott is now getting full-fledged,aggressive rides, from the
likes of the grossly underrated Cornellio Velasquez, and with royally bred horses to put his masterful training style to,its all come $ together in a big way.
Granted, hes no underdog, but he is a full fledged Gentlemen, and easy to root for, right to the window$.

Let's keep riding the Mott express with Silver Whistle in the 6th at Gulfstream on Wednesday. He's coming of a layoff but thats no problem for Mott (20% + 90 days away). Maybe Motion's horse #2 Fantorini (he'll love 11 furlongs) can offer some value in the exotics with him, as Mott's horse will be hammered. And yes Rudy Silver Whistle has been working out at Payson. It's worth mentioning that Pletscher works his horses at palm meadows training center and he seems to be doing ok at Gulfstream. Maybe the trainer is more important than where the horses train, but it's something worth thinking about.

if Steve is reading this Please put Silver Whistle on the list with that New York horse....the Whistle was loaded Cornelio had a wall of horses and a ton left. He had to get off the rail and try to pass 5 or 6 in front of on the outside and would have won.He was the best .....Another one of the Mott horses.... key to use in gimmicks since the win prices have been low...............

Lost with Mott today, going right back to the well tomorow with Cielo Song in the sixth at Gulfstream. Should improve in second race off layoff, and gets better post.
