BSL in Va , this really hurts

well the bsl law is due to hit the vote in va... hoping i got friends out there and fellow virginians to help fight this thing.. bsl is like the hilter of dog laws.. the pitty dogs in my picture will eventually be pulled from my home to be put to death. . they give some people the choice to get them out of the city or state , however, eventually they are totally outlawed and put to death when found.. any va folk out here that would like to fight for the right to own these dogs please send me a note...i will send the info to you...

also take note...its not just about the pittybullydog i love..its about the rights of the public to own animals being taken away at the push of a pen and the drop of a hammer... right now the dogs are property when they get done they will own said property and be able to dispose of it as they like... well well now ..what is the next property they will demand from you?? its not just about the dogs its about everyones right to own them!! thanks for letting me spout... im making up petitions for people to sign and send to the house reps , if you would like one to send around email style let me know...thanks again spice

breed specific legislation= they take guardianship of the animals and that means at any time they can get them destroyed because they are in charge of your pet from the time the law passes... in most cities states and countries that have passed the law they have out lawed bully dogs.. that may or may not included several other breeds... pretty much they take away the ownership of property... virginia being a common wealth can do as it chooses mostly , and they can lay claim to anything even on your property..if your digging in the back yard and find a treasure they lay claim to it because they never sign away full rights to your land.. and now the old ~animals are property =livestock law ~ is being changed JUST for the bully breeds ... so the rights of the pet owners is being taken away just like that ..they will vote on it and do it without anyone getting a drift till it comes time they collect all the bully dogs up and destroy them.. its happened in several cities already and couple of countries .. my babies are now in danger of being destroyed because of their breed , and they never hurt anyone...its just wrong.....

Having seen what pitbulls can do to a full grown adult and child, it would not upset me to see all of them removed from the country. Before you ask, yes have a lab (amoungst other critters/pets).

that would be fine but the ones in the pictures are full grown and only 22 to 30 pds.. your lab could knock some one down before my pitties could even take off a little toe..........

oh by the way the last attack was a golden lab on a five year old child..the second attack for that dog...took half that kids face off... and because it was on a leash walking past the kid they didnt make it die..but the owner said , he would have it put down because its the second time that dog attacked a kid in the face....

no breed is child or grown up proof ..... should i say all labs should die.... dont think so

I'm not going to get into a p*ssing contest with you about this. All I stated was I've seen up close in person what a pitbull has done to an adult and child. Pitbulls and rot's are notorious for attacking people - look that up. Far as the person's whose lab attacked, he was on a leash - that's the difference in the eyes of the law. BTW, I never stated pitbulls should die - just don't want them here (America). Sounds like someone's got thin skin. If you're going to post something in a public forum, there will be times when others take the opposet point of view. Have a nice night.

no thin skin here..just wondering what is next , to take away my right to own the pet of choice is obscene... and stupid.. the very next thing people that want to create such animals will do is take a couple of other breeds and mix them up to make monster unstable dogs.. wondering where it will end.. will we soon have to apply to govt prior to recieving the pet they decide a person can have.. and what exactly is the breed they will deem safe...okay then what happens when the brainiacs preferred breed of choice becomes so inbred it too becomes unstable...so dog free america thats what we need.. better ask them while they are at it exactly what fish , cats, bird we can own as well as turtle frog, snake, lizzard, because if allowed ..these so called servants of the public will doom you to a padded holding cell until their turn up at bat is over... my opinion.. you can have yours after all .....its still a free country aint it??
