...............Well Oaklawn was cancelled and Tampa Bay Downs had a record handle somewhere in the neighborhood of $7.3 million. Got to meet Bill Mott with Ziadierules what a gentleman and class act.He won two races with horses working at Payson which has continued to be the best training track to ship from for Tampa races....Also met Mr Steve of Trackwinners and he is in the same league as Mr.Mott...who by the way had 4 0r 5 winners today between Gulfstream and Tampa ............Today racing lost two prominant figures in racing Bob Lewis and the owner of Smarty Jones (sorry don't remember his name)..Two horses were given to me today one was very long odds finishing second which I used in a pick 3 and the other was the #12 in the 12th race. He showed good works, unfortunately poor money management
cost me dearly....as I was tapped out by then...The pick4 cost was lost by many who left out Derek Bell on 20-1 shot which came baCK OVER 2 GRAND
for a two dollar bet.........The only win today for most was the .80 cent dogs
and beers...............I sure wish Tampa would add some more Pick3's to the card....the 8 million dollar horse was a no show at Santa Anita with the uncoupled Baffert horse beating him...Well good luck to all..........

You will never be confused for a Journalist!
You write a report on the Tampa Bay Downs Saturday Card, and nowhere is
there even a mention of Bluegrass Cat winning the Sam Davis.
Heres one of the favorites for the Derby, making his 3 year old debut, the Eclipse Award Winning Trainer/Jockey Combo of Todd Pletcher& Johnny V
make the trip over, and you would rather talk about hot-dogs.

What a great perspective..In fact you are correct I am not a journalist..You seem to want to tear peoples opinions and comments down..At least I make an attempt...I thought this website was to share opinions, comments and handicapping, but I guess I was wrong.. As you know its a long way to the derby, its great to route for Pletcher,Johnny V, Kirk and Joan ...........but please realize some of us are routing for the underdog,,the ham and eggers, the guys who started with nothing and became something..And no one has the right to take that dream away from anyone........not you or anyone else..........

Kirk Ziadie is a High School Dropout, who made himself into something special.
Joan Scott worked as an assistant for upwards of 10 trainers, paying her dues
before getting a chance to start a public stable.
Johnny V was a nobody, going nowhere when he first came to this country, and
had his bags packed and ready to return to his homeland defeated, and then by a stroke of God..............go research the rest of the story.
As for Todd Pletcher, has wasnt even the first assisant trainer to Wayne
Lukas during those glory days, but bided his time and learned his trade.
All " underdog" success stories.
Do some homework.
As for shooting down your opinions and comments,it is you who constantly
refers to me in your postings, with repeated jabs, and sarcasim,so I guess
its alright to give, but not receive.
You write a report and fail to mention Bluegrass Cat.
You tout Zitos' horses while taking a dig at me.
You give 8 selections on Saturday, but that wasnt enough, you had to mention me.
Dont refer to me,and I wont refer to you anymore,OK?
Good Luck to you,Your Honor!

i'm happy for bluegrass cat being a contender for the derby, but i wasn't about to bet on a horse that paid $3.40.
what i was much happier about was those claimers in race 5. i had the winner @ 17-1, along with that photo for place between a 5-1 and a 22-1. unfortunately, the 5-1 got 2nd, but i'll still take the $236 exacta!
congratulations to bluegrass cat...but you didn't make my day!

You should have wheeled the rest of the field for second.
Thats where the payoff was.
Good job hitting that 5th race.

thanks ZRT. i was afraid the 2nd or 3rd favorite would place, making it a loser. oh well, that's why the call it gambling!
again, congrats to bluegrass cat! best of luck to all at the windows!:)
