Did any one here what happened to our DRF.Chat Board. Crazybear. you have any idea.. how and where will we be posting our Picks for our Daily Contests?

Scott sent me a answer that he recieved back from them and they said they were shutting it down as a part of changing to the new look DRF

Hi it's me Brooklyn....I've been missing in action only to find that DRF forum for our horseracing picks is shut down..Where do we go from here? Truform and Crazybear it is so good to finally find two of you. Where is Walkerfarms??? I miss everyone and was looking forward to handicapping. Where is Don? What the heck is going on? Are we just left hanging by DRF?

Hi, I'm just wondering what happened to all my friends and where they are now....I'm really attached to them. I'll look at some of your contests for sure, but I'm in search of Truform, Crazybear, Walkerfarms, Don and so many more.....I'm on a mission::;

What in the heck happened to DRF if I'm allowed to ask and why no more chat....do you know?

I do not know why DRF is shutting down, other than just changing things, for whatever reason.

We recently had an influx of members from HOTTALKERS ... perhaps some of them may know.

FYI ... I do have an inquiry in to the editor of DRF, asking why they are shutting down, as well as for some other information.

I'll post it, as soon as I learn anything.

Thanks, I was also a member of Hottalkers, but did most of the posting on DRF. Thanks for finding out for me. I see some members here and I see some at another site, but I don't know where to find contests or anything on here as of yet. I'll have to keep searching the site.

If you hear anything on DRF please let me know.

Hey young lady i wondered where you went.They have section here for your picks only i think you score your own.i have'nt emailed Don Yet,Awfulcapper told me that he had recieved a email from the DRF admin that as a part of the "changing the look they are doing away with The DRF interact part dont know if they will start it back or not.
Tinman and maybe Awfulcapper went to horseracingzone.com.I have been takin a break from the posting picks and waiting for the live OP season.

Hottalkers shut down because of Old Cod and Hoghats having to spend a lot of time with ailing family members ,money,all the time they had to put in moderating the site dealing with a couple of trouble makers ,So all together they decided time to move on down the road.
The folks here were super nice enuff to give us a thread for us to make us feel at home and all have welcomed us here.

I went on vacation and found out DRF had shut down...I'm so glad you people have found a great new home. I'm totally lost. I found you and Truform here and I've found Walkerfarms and Awful on the other site, but not many people actually posting there. I was worried about Don...last I heard he was sick and not scoring. I'm so glad to see you are all well and that this forum has opened their arms to so many. I don't really understand the format yet, but I'll work on it.

I wonder if DRF will remain closed and if so why? I miss all of you and I'm so glad to hear from you. I've been away on a very long vacation and haven't signed in since BC day I don't think.....see what happens when you take a vacation...everything shuts down.

Brooklyn i remember you said you would be gone fer awhile .See when you take off for a while everywhere dry's up lol. Don had some eye surgery and the last i talked to him he was getting better. You see they hava nice P6 carryover at AQ

I'm still gone Crazybear...I'm visiting family out-of-state but going home on the 8th. I was going to check on Hottalkers and DRF to say Happy New Year's to everyone, and found the sites closed down...what a bummer. I'm so glad Don is doing better....I didn't know what the problem was to tell you the truth. I really, really want us all back together again..is that selfish? I miss the format on PYCP and I miss everyone that I had gotten to know on there.

After coming in second on BC day and losing by so little to become KOTH..I was completely bummed, because I had taken out 2 winners at the last moment. I so wanted to beat you guys....it would have been such a great feeling, but I took my licks and took a vacation in hopes of coming back as a better handicapper....now I'm lost.

I'm glad I found you though....I just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and let everyone know I'm thinking of them.

Hi Brooklynn,

Welcome. I'm new here on Trackwinners. I felt kind of lost when Hottakers recently closed down. The big difference between Hottalkers and DRF, was Hottalkers gave everyone plenty of notice, which allowed people to say goodbye and give each other email addresses. That was very nice of the folks that run Hottakers.

As Crazybear mentioned, there is a place on this board to post picks. You could probably post picks there like at DRF, and then hope someone will take the task to score them.

It didn't take long for me to really like this board. The people that run the board are great. Jerfi runs contest daily, in which you can bet money they call vcash. You like all new members probably got $1000 in your bank. Post and make lots of money! Like Hottalkers and DRF, its for bragging rights. Steve the owner also has contests which pay real money. He's giving away a couple of hundred tomorrow on contests at Tampa Bay.

One thing I hope doesn't happen here? All the nuts from the DRF General Discussion forum show up and start creating problems. That was the biggest problem I had with DRF. They had no way to filter out the kooks.

So again Welcome and I hope you find a new Horse Racing Discussion Board you like.
