RULES FOR THE ROI CONTEST
1. There will be ONE race selected for each day of the week, Monday through Saturday.
2. You MUST bet at least one horse in each race. The MINIMUM bet must be at least $10, unless
you don't have that much Vcash left in your account. Then, it will require your Vcash total.
3. MINIMUM bet can be split among two or more horses. $3 on # 1, $ 5 on $2, and $2 on #9 counts
as a $10 bet.
4. You may HIDE your bet, if you like. This would prevent folks piggy backing on your bet,
seeing how much you bet, and betting a few $$ more. (Thanks to Scottsdad for this suggestion!)
5. On Friday, after that race, I'll post the contest leaders who are in the top 10% ... or the top
10, whichever seems to be most helpful.
6. The winner will be the one who has the largest Vcash total, after the race is official.
7. IMPORTANT NOTE TO NEW MEMBERS: The way the VBookie system is set up, you
automatically get $500 in your VCash account. You are STILL LIMITED to the $100
starting limit, and any bet that would take you over that amount will DISQUALIFY you!
8. RULES ARE IMPORTANT! Observe them, for fairness in the contest, and for fun for all!
************************************************** ************************************************** ***************
Subcontest: This is where you will bet on the 'capper you expect to win! A part of your Vcash total
will go into this side bet, if you care to make it. Please note: The subcontest will be OVER after
Thursday's race, although the winner will not be posted till after Saturday's race.
How are the odds going to be selected? I'm going to start alphabetically by track, and take the first
track that has twelve horses, and just go right down the line on the M/L to select the odds on the
cappers! PLEASE NOTE: this is strictly random, and is not, in any way, an indication of the
capper's ability! We had to choose some way, and this is the way we chose!
Good luck on all bets!
