For those of you who want to get an early start on next year's BC...
My predictions:
1. The rail will be the place to be.
2. Europeans will win the Turf races.
3. Todd Pletcher will win a race.
4. Kelly Breen or Peter Walder will win a race.
5. There will be a tote delay at the end of the last race.

ah, yes, looking ahead! :)
I predict the ones who get there first will win ... and that at least two of the races will pay over $30

it certainly will be cold...the facilities will not be large enough for the fans who want quality seats, there won't be enough good hotel rooms, the roads will be clogged with a traffic jam and it will NEVER be held there again! It should be held in the South or mid South every year {Del Mar, Gulfstream, Fairgrounds, Churchill, Oaklawn, Lone Star} Makes no sense to hold in NY or New Jersey after NOV 1st.

Amenbc( . I guess next years vacation will be planned around a "Calder" trip and then on down to the "Key's".

I sure can't think of anything wrong with a southern Florida vacation in November! :)
The one this year, though, during BC week, was totally unplanned ... and it was work, not vacation. But, with the way the prices turned out.... I am probably several $$ ahead! :) ... simply because I made no bets!

Never thought of snow before. But it's possible. I guess they would have to run the turf races on frozen grass?? wow.
