Santa Anita. No question. I live in Ohio and cut my teeth on cheap racing, and since 2000 have not set foot in a race track. However, if I lived in So. Cal., I would definitely attend races there. They interview jockeys, trainers, owners, before and after many races (on HRTV, which I receive on Dishnetwork) And it'll be Hollywood park for me when the meet ends at SA, although for the life of me I don't understand why its so hard to redo their turf course!

Del Mar gets a lot of people excited, too, but may be overrated(my opinion only)

All in all, there are horses for courses and little ideosyncracies in California, but at least the way the track plays can be counted on for the most part.
