Betting the Breeders' Cup is all about getting good value on your plays.
Taking short odds on the so-called "cinches" is a pit-fall towards disaster.
Try to bet a little to make alot. By all means, include the favorites you like in exotics, just don't over-bet them.

Here are my suggestions for value plays:

Fillies and Mares Turf : Germance (12-1 or higher)

Mile : Echo of Light (8-1 +)

Distaff: Spun Sugar (10-1 +)

Classic: Premium Tap (20-1 +)

If one of those can win for me, or even run second for a nice exacta, it should be a great day. Making money betting BC races is never easy, but it sure is fun trying!

Good luck to all of you!!!

couple more value plays:
Asi Sempera in the Distaff. (Bianconne says it's 50/50 she'll take to the dirt but if she does, she wins) 50/50 shot-15/1 value= nice price shot

Skip Code in the Juvenile. If you go to NTRA and watch the replay of the G3 Grey, this horse just kinda loped along, and then forced his way between 2 rivals down the stretch to win. Not many 2 y.o's have that kind of courage. Daddy (Skip Away) won the BC Classic and Grandpa (Sunny's Halo) won the Derby- this one's last 3 races were 1and 70 , 1 and 70 followed by gutty win at this distance. (And even if he doesn't win, I think I've got my first Derby Future bet-hope he isn't part of the "field") Skip is 50/1 in the morning line, and if my hunch is right, I win for the day without having to cash another ticket!
