from my estimation, he did win between 2M-3M in purses correct??? It is very hard to win a single race on Breeders day, I think most owners/trainers have to be happy in at least placing????

According to DRF, Pletcher's horses collected $2.16 million on BC Day. He thought all his horses ran well except for Fleet Indian, who got injured, and Lawyer Ron, who was once again rank and unwilling to rate in the Classic.

I thought it was strange how media looked as if to make Todd really down about not having any 1st finishers.
I'd still be happy in those 2nds, 3rds, and 4ths.
Even some of the 5th finishers win a little.
Makes you wonder why, at least, why can't there be a return on those
4th finishers back to the bettors, too - like, maybe, a half of their bet?
