Invasor and Bernardini are the only 2 I see with a very good chance of winning here. Had Lava man been a 4yo, I would have given him a good chance off the paired figure pattern. George Washington and David Junior are hard to figure in here. George Washington is being compared to Giant's Causeway, but his sire is Danehill, who has not had a favorable history of success on the the dirt. David Junior has some better pedigree on the dirt, and ranks near the best best of the best on turf, but it still comes down to the same questions: Why dirt? and why now?
professionals seem to think that both of these horses are in a win-win situation in regards to breeding. They win, they go off to stud as superhorses who can both dirt and turf. They lose, They can still make loads of money as turf sires in Europe.
Anyways, my point is, that this may very well be a match race between Bernardini and Invasor, with the one who shows greater improvement winning. Invasor will obviously be the better price, but a price of at least 9-2 is highly recommended, as he will likely have to show greater improvement Bernardini. A $2 straight exacta of Invasor over Bernardini, along with $1 Tris and supers boxing Invasor and Bernardini with the rest of the field (minus Lawyer Ron, suave and premium Tap) could also prove profitable as well.
Anyways, good luck to all with whatever your picks are$) $)

A mistake was made when this bet was settled. Brother Derek was marked as the winner when the winner was actually Invasor. There is no need to worry though, all those who bet on Invasor have been manually settled with the right win amount. All those who bet on Brother Derek have had the improper winning removed.

INVASOR was the winner. We can't undo the wrong horse we have on this thread.
