This will be the first race of his career that he has not been favored
Aidan O'brien must think this horse is capable of gettng the distance
but I will not use him in exotics ( See Dylan Thomas )gah;

I am not overly impressed with the field for the classic - so I'm willing to consider a new face. But he hasn't been the distance - and he' Danehill - which I think is all turf - but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

I've heard a not of comparisions to Giant's causeway with this horse, but I don't see it on paper. The other Euro, David Junior does intrigue me however. The Tomilison in the form is 407, he's put of Pleasant colony, and he has been running against the best Turf horses such as Oujia Board and the late Electrocutionist. I don't know about Brian Meehan, but there must be a reason why he's trying dirt for the first time in the Classic. If Invasor is a little rusty from his long break, This could be the one that elimates all the Bernadini singles in the serial bets.::;

Best Classic field I've ever seen, top to bottom, and I feel that way about most of the other races as well! Take Bernardini out of the equation, and any of these horses in the classic have a chance to win a G1 race anywhere in the world when they step out onto the track on race day. I think every race is wide open, and will be surpised if even one favorite wins, except for Bernardini.

I do think Invasor could pose a threat.. he can stalk behind Bernardini... It's an incredibly difficult card.. If youre an exotics player like me you have to take a stand somewhere, but I'm reluctant when a horse like Sun King could be 25 or 30-1, its scary.ds:

I think George will not have any problem with the distance. My program has GW at 115 on dirt 125 on turf 115* mud and 120 for distance. The mark on mud is superior. Bernardini has 116 dirt 112 turf 116 mud and 122 distance. They all can't win, but there is a lot of money for the horses that run under the winner. Good luck to all.

Here's the only stat I need to toss George Washington: Aidan O'Brien is 0 for 13 with European imports he has run on dirt in North America the past 5 years.
