He is my contenders line
Cacique could improve of his man O War score, but he's a 5yo who's best beyer is a 109 (par being 112). Most of his best figs are also on off courses. I would like a lot better if he were a 4yo, but that being said, I still put him at about 10-1
English Channel is a consistant 4yo who also has some possible improvement ahead. He also won at this distance last out. 9-2
Hurricane Run could very well be the class of this field He beat Electrocutionist 4 back,and lost a neck to Shirocco, who won this last year, 3 back. 7-2
Red Rocks looks to be competitive in this field as well, but you have to wonder if he suffers from seconditis. 12-1
Scorpion looks like he fits as a contender here as well. He won the Grand Pris de Paris back in July, but then got pummelled by Hurricane run only 2 back. He could get a good trip if the pace is not too quick early, so it might be a matter of which horse shows up 8-1

I see that a lot of people are "ignoring history". My picks are Hurricane Run (top pick) and Scorpion. My top "american" pick is Go Deputy (Todd Pletcher has plenty of horses so he's not under any pressure to start a horse who isn't ready, although the short turnaround is a bit of a concern)

i like cacique because of his experience and i hope longer odds..will have to go to beat English Channel,small but powerful, i saw EC at colonial downs.Tuff$)

i like hurricane run especially if the turf is less than firm. his time form has regressed a bit but even at his current form he seems to be a notch better.
