Another one of our forum members "LongshotLarry" took down the Pic 4 pool at Tampa Today. Larry is a friend of mine and I just learned of his 7K win. I know Larry to be an excellent "trip" handicapper so perhaps he will share with the forum what he looks for before, and after the races.

Way to go Larry...BTW, didn't I have some money in that ticket??? LOL

Steve, and fellow members. its nice to get rewarded when you do the work. Spent a large amount of time on the Pick 4 Thursday night, and it really payed off! Fellow member Ted stated on the way to the track: if you hit this Pick 4,it looks impossible, I will give you 10000. Ted, show me the money!! The key to winning today was adjusting your picks to the track bias. The track was slanted toward outside pressers and closers, and I changed several picks to accomodate this pattern. You can never fall in love with your picks at Tampa the night before, the track bias can change suddenly and without reason!

LonshotLarry,

Ain't that the truth. Who stole that early speed we experienced for a few days? And why?? Who killed the rail?? Was it Ted?? By the way I was a witness to that conversation regarding the money with Ted. How about half for old Stevie?

If you notice the selections I posted today they all contained an outside closer. If speed holds today I am going to camp out at the track and see who is putting the voodoo, or strong bias spell on the surface. Hey, could it be GROVER? Now thats a thought!

(Grover is a guy at Tampa who guarantees Bad Luck is with him) Even if you just won --something will happen , such as an inquiry from nowhere and they will always take your horse down. WE ALL AVOID GROVER.

Steve, they are probably scraping and rolling the rail as I am writing this, and Grover is probably driving one of the tractors!!! May have to wait a few races to see how the track is playing today. The Pick 4 looks a little chalky today, but you never know, especially at TBD...

.....Congrats on the victory. Was not really aware there was a strong outside bias as everyone else seems to know about, but that's what happens when you associate yourself with Grover. ..............What's the latest on the National Handicapping Contest,(Team Tampa ) heard we had someone tied for first...............Thanks for the contest Steve...P.S. Larry I overheard the conversation too $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Best wishes
