when i get to the track with my list, 1st thing i dois hit the replay tv. this gives me an idea about what may have happened to a horse i like that day who shows trouble or excuse lines. by watching replays i can tell if my horse may have been best .---but had to check, or a hole closed,or e jumped a shadow. etc etc. replays have gotten me some nice prices . so lets call it the replay angle thegrandmeister

Hey, GM! :) The folks who watch replays, repeatedly, looking for horses who got in trouble are most often called 'trip handicappers.' And you are quite right: It's a very valid angle ... which has been used by yours truly ...

Grandmeister, your lucky your track gives you the replays. At Tampa Bay Downs, they discontinued that service years ago. They also discontinued the replay show at night, so now its the internet, or nothing. Tough to see using a computer monitor-if you enlarge the screen, it is very fuzzy.. Trip handicapping is the way to go at Tampa Bay downs or at any track that features large fields...The chartmakers will miss (or keep for themselves?) many troubled trips...

I think that is very smart of you Grandmaster! It is also very helpful for a owner of a racehorse. You could be a great trainer!
