Last year at the fall meet(2005) the #12 post position was 0-18, the #11 hole was 0-46 and the #10 was 10-75.

The previous year(2004 fall meet) the #12 was 1-18 and the #11 was 6-39 and the #10 was 4-70. This was all races. At least the #10 is improving, but the new polytrack may change things!

Just somthing to consider when handicapping at Keeneland. zxvtrp

When throwing out the outside horses remember they made the turns wider and added 110 feet to the streach.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I'll use it as a tool. The first 4 races should determine if it holds up. Also the TRAKUS device they installed will give us exact charts to view instead of a race callers interpretations. That information will be invaluable. I hope they install it everywhere. zxvtrp

A gentle reminder....maybe you should throw out ALL your preconceived notions of how Keeneland will play this year, seeing as how they are gonna run over a brand new surface as well?

You are right! The 12 hole hasn't won a race yet but it will soon. The 11 has won twice alrerady and the 12 hit 2nd twice! Boy, I like the way that new poly surface runs and I like the way Berjarano & Laperaux are riding there. If you'd have played the 3 yesterday, you're rich today!

Old Keeneland rules are irrelevant. New Keeneland rules are what though? (Other than play Julien & Rafael in every multi-race bet.)
