Trakus is a new wireless device installed on a horse to correctly report the position, speed, etc. of all horses in a race. It was installed at Woodbine and will be also installed at Keeneland this coming meet. These devices will completely change and enhance ones racing experience. I can't wait. Those positions you read in the form will finally be accurate!! Oh Boy! zxvtrp

I like what I've seen so far at Woodbine. Sure makes it easy to tell when my number drops back.

just for fun

Sounds pretty cool! I haven't seen or used it yet.

Keeneland's system actually showed precisely how far every horse in the field ran in the race, to the nearest foot. Now when you say that a horse ran an extra quarter mile by going 16-wide around both turns, you'll have figures to back up your argument.

Iv'e watched, with a lot of interest, the races being run at Woodbine, with those devices, and I must say, it does enhance the 'watchability' of a race!

Bravo!
