I wish sheikh would buy me, so I could eat his crumbs. That, or give me 1% of his net worth! This guy is going wild, refuses to be outbid by magnier if it's a horse he wants! Today, a kingmambo colt for 11.7m, almost half of the 30m he spent yesterday, The money this guy has! Must be nice.

I like what he said the other day about the differences in configuration of horses for Europe and horses for the U.S. He admitted that his European horses did not fit here and that he had changed his metrics for buying horses for the U.S.

He also said he would to continue to train and prepare "his way" in the Middle East becuase he thought that the weather and such are more of a positive than training here.

It is his money, and it is nice to see him putting it back into the industry. I believe he will have a champion U.S. horse(s) in the next year or two.
Bernadini is just the start.

It will soon be difficult to bet against his horses, like trying to bet against Baze when he rides west coast favorites.;)

The Godolphin stable also has a lot of bad luck with horses his Champion Dubai Millenium died after one season at stud and this years world cup winner electrocutionist had a heart attack and died . his spending helps the breeding industry especially the small farms , when he spends 5 or 6 million for one of there horses it keeps them going fora few years.

He said the horses eat better in hotter weather. Not sure.
I hope the sheik's horses are as streaky as Baze's riding habits!

Sheikh Mohammed al-Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai who spent more than $60 million in the first three days of Keeneland's September yearling sale, has been named in a lawsuit alleging that he and other racing-camel owners in the United Arab Emirates are party to the illegal kidnapping of young boys to serve as camel jockeys, the Associated Press reported Wednesday.
Unnamed parents of the boys filed a civil suit in Miami last week seeking class-action status for a case that the suit says could involve more than 30,000 boys. The plaintiffs allege that boys as young as 2 have been abducted and enslaved as camel jockeys in the UAE. Maktoum left the Keeneland sale on Wednesday and was unavailable for comment.

I hate so say it but it is probably true, but it’s a shame that all those terrorist folks own all those nice horses. I know they win a lot but I’m leery of them. I just don’t trust them. I am very suspicious of the way they operate in this country. I hope someone is keeping an eye on them to make sure they are not helping in any way because when it comes to America or horse racing I’m going to side with America every time.

I can believe the Sheikh might not be a terrorist but I can’t believe that one of the Sheikh’s buddies doesn’t know a terrorist or someone that hates America and is willing to do something about it and even without the Sheikh’s knowledge or behind his back someone could use the Sheikh to get in this country and do America harm. Like I said before, I don’t trust them. I hope the Government is keeping a close eye on the Sheikh and all his buddies.

i get your paranoia but lets be honest, most countries and people hate America. They hate the opportunities we have, and the loose way we live. They swallow up our garbage pop culture, all the while hating us. So, for that comment, join the crowd, everyone hates us. We're like the Yankees, everyone wants to see the one's at the top squirm; its called human nature.

Secondly, of course he has a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend who knows a terrorist, who doesn't? it doesnt mean that he's directly involved. I might have a terrorists friend-by-association, I don't think so, but I might. You cant burn me at the stake because my best friends'-boss's-sons'-cousins'-ex-girlfriend was a part of a terrorist website; that's not American.

The recent news of the kidnapping to train the youngsters' to be cameljockeys is disturbing, and I'm sure the govt. has been aware of the Sheikh for a long time... the govt. doesn't need us to remind them to check any person of that power and prestige and ds:, so until we know he is involved directly or indirectly, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

What was the Prince's name who owned Thoroughbred Corp, and owned war emblem and a few others? After winning a big race, he said "I love America" in a post race interview. Soon after, he's found dead in a hotel. Anyone find out what the autopsy said?

This is the best post ever. The "America, f*** yeah" quote is from a hilarious comedy, TEAM AMERICA WORLD POLICE. Perfect placement Stigg, and you and your gay fantasy Keith have it to yourselves. I'm stepping off the handicapping scene for a while.

Maybe i can spend my extra money on some underwear draped in the flag.

Your right Mister Sanderson, I need to control my delusional paranoid thoughts about Muslim's. I know not all Muslims are involved and I have no right to accuse the Sheikh. I don’t know if he is involved directly or indirectly. I don’t know him and I’m not around him every day. I don’t know what they talk about or how they think. Hell, for all I know the Sheikh, his close friends and associates, and his employees might be helping our Government, but I doubt it. If I thought I had a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend or boss's-sons'-cousins'-ex-girlfriend that I knew and I thought they were involved in any way I would report my suspicions to the proper authorities and let them investigate. When and if the world is ever coming down the stretch in this so-called Holy War and all people are forced to pick a side, fight and make a stand, I would bet that most Muslins would side against America</ST1:p. I personally don’t want to have anything to do with anybody that doesn’t love <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:pAmerica</ST1:p</st1:country-region> and is willing to fight for her.

Mister Sanderson

why is America always a "her", why not a "him"? Fight for him? Who created that?

I don't think its time to draw the line in the sand yet though with us and them.. So by reading what is listed above I guess that I hate America, right? Because I try not to pidgeonhole people who look a certain way? I don't get the point, are we in Armegeddon here, is this a movie?

I just can't point fingers that easily without knowing. Sorry.
I understand ur point, and I don't want to come across as a sympathist, but I'm not in favor of the mentality of all or nothing. I'm not Sargeant John McClain trying to fight Hans Gruber. Alot more people are there to meet in the middle.

Stigg,

You were telling me about your professor and his ranch training facility next to Toby Keith. Maybe you can go down there and get him to sign some USA underwear for you. Or you could get a strand of his USA chest hair. I know you got excited when the professor told you that.
