..........I read alot of disgruntled comments today about Rice and Ziadie...can anyone tell me to what extent testing is done at Tampa Downs? I beleive the winner and 2nd place horse are tagged and brought back,to the backside but is it a random test??? I think all of us want a level playing field....and Ziadie rules still thinks Kirks never been caught......ok please tell him Santa Claus is alive and well.and put teeth under apillow for cash.....I hate to burst his bubble but he was suspended this summer at Calder. If I had a racehorse I'd probably try to have Kirk train him he's good but its crazy to think every ones innocent. Mr Pletcher is presently fiting a drug posive from Saratoga, did we forget Passero at Gulfstream, was it cayenne pepper..or Mr Dutrow in New York fact is some of the best trainers have been charged. Its unfortunately, alot of varying factors......Poppy seeds can cause a positive in humans for drug testing...so wake up and realize this is part of the game we all enjoy so much...

I am well aware of the ziadie & son suspension, thats how I know 3 others
were suspended at the same time,Professor!
I never said Ziadie was a choir boy,nor am I for that matter.
What pissed me off is that every fricken post had Ziadies' name on it,when
they are all doing it,even Mr. Eclipse Winning Pletcher.
But as long as I am cashing winning tickets, and understand that " Juice" is
part of the game, then thats reality$$$$.
These Dipspits who are whining & moaning, need to spend that wasted time
learning which trainers are the HAVES,and which trainers are the HAVE NOTS.
Otherwise,go play poker......

I posted my thoughts on "edges" in racing yesterday morning. As you can see they pretty much they concur with Mr. ZadieRulesTampa, although he might be a bit more forceful. As I read post after post...something interesting strikes me. We are still talking "drugs," and it is still my contention that drugs are only a small sliver of the pie that changes the playing field. But hey, if everyone wants to focus on drugs and more rules and regs....all of life is relative...lets talk drugs. There are Federal, State and Local laws governing the sale and use of "recreational drugs." Getting caught isn't a 15 days suspension from work; it can be years hard time. Drive 15 minutes out the front gate and look around. All those rules and regulations have sure helped keep drugs off our streets, haven't they? Here is a FACT....like it or not. In my "old" occupation I was part of major professional and amateur athletics and trust this, relatively speaking, drugs are not as big a factor in racing as they are in any sports OR EVEN DRIVING DOWN THE AVERAGE CITY STREET. Hell, I was in an upclass strip bar last night and guarantee that there was more "performance enhancing" chemistry going on there then there will be at tampa today. Like ZadieRules so eloquently stated, get over it and let's play the game. And by the way, whoever out there thinks that Steve isn't a honest, fair, completely open guy.....is barking up a very wrong tree. Send me that private message and you can bet your ***, I'll set you straight.

Just to inform you, Frank Passero was NEVER charged (I know you said some) with anything in his Gulfstream world record 14 in a row.The pepper incident happened from 2 grooms. They were doing this in the holding area before the horses got to the paddock.Sad but true, Takes a couple of idiots to ruin a reputation.Just clarifying this!!
