Congratulations to Steve on his big hit today at TBD. With only 12 exchanges in the twin tri, he managed to correctly pick the 4th race trifecta, and was rewarded with the sum of $31,000! Steve was so excited by the close finish, that he called me immediately, asking if the 7 horse with an Umana had beat him. I replied. no, I had watched it again on TV and told him that the 3 horse just held on!! Ok, Steve, I was partners with you, right???

Thanks Guys..

Oh, Longshot I forgot to tell you that I was dialing my priest and got you by accident. If he could help me get the 3 up instead of the 7 I was going to promise to show up this Sunday instead of the Race Track. By dialing you accidently I can now come to the track before the Superbowl. Ain't America great?

In reply to Mister Zesterhouse,

Skipping the first leg (there were almost 600 exchanges) I took my 12 trade-ins and thought about the race in this manner. Don Rice was my clue.

To know Don Rices Modus Operandi is to know he sends his horses two times on a track for conditioning and the 3rd time he sends them for the score. Typically this is true regardless of how bad the horse looked last out. But on that card his horse had ran 2nd the 2nd time out at Tampa. That screamed one thing. This horse is ready to run before Don Rice plans for it too. As a capper you had to put this entry on top. Rice has been the leading trainer at Tampa almost every year in the last 10 so his horses must be used. Today the top spot was the place and I just knew it.

The two under--I noticed this just now--was two of the top three Bris Prime Power had rated. I used my own numbers, but Bris had them picked already.

Any time you a twin tri....you are doing something right and the race gods are with you. Congrats. I won't play the wager unless there is a forced payout on that day. If there is...i might play it aggresively. I generally play the exacta and the supers in those races instead. It is a very low probability play even for an exotic player. Last week there was discussion on the forum about the size of the super pools in Tampa. Someone was moitoring the amount wagered. If not large enough do you guys pass the play entirely?

Great pic'n. I am trying to cap the capper and I am guessing you will take a good hard look at the 7th at Tampa tomorrow ( 2-2-2006 ) based on my observation of one of the key characteristics of the races some of your big hits come from. I have not looked at the race yet only at a single factor I have noticed seems to be present. Off to take a look. Time is really limited for me but I will take a good hard look at the 7th.
