Last Saturday was a very interesting day...there are angles each day, each race.... As TrifectaDan can attest I told him about a horse at Monmouth
named Davy Jones who raced what I beleive was an even race at Meadowlands, racing against a few he raced against a few weeks earlier.
Davy Jones is owned by Quiet Winter Farm in south Florida he is worked out and owned by Davy Jones a former singer with a popular TV sitcom from the 70's the Monkees...The win paid $37.00 the $1.00 exact about 52.00
which I beleive should have been more with a 5/2 finishing 2nd...
There are trainer jockey angles which must also be noted...Saturday Todd Pletcher used Mike Luzzi to ride in the $1 million turf at Colonial,,,Bill Mott was
using Gomez those two decisions led me to shop elsewhere as John Velasquez was at Monmouth riding in a much cheaper purse race for Pletcher that combo is the most deadly in racing. which did win...Bill Mott uses Cornelio Velasquez, but Cornelio was riding the winner for Barclay Tagg in the turf race............
One final note Rosemary Homeister is back riding. She is very deadly on the last race at Calder she will be inducted into Calder's Racing Hall of fame this summer...look for her to start winning with frequency..........Good luck fellow racing fans...........

If there is only ONE first time starter in a race of 7 or more horses, and that first timer is bet as favorite, he hits the board 9 of 10 times.... which is almost an auto show bet .....

Both angles seem to indicate an accomplished trainer, and a quality horse!
