You know I was thinking along the same lines.
Reading the material posted over the last week,Steve,Longshot Larry, and
especially this Ziadie Character, are the people with the knowledge worth
following to the windows.

I sure don't see any great knowledge being put forth by you 2 great handicappers. Thanks for calling us clown. I have been posting my pick and results and I am showing a profit on flat bets to win. Although the profit is not big on the win bets IT IS STILL A PROFIT. Lets see your picks.......................

No one said you 2 have to go into anothers post & bet the horses THEY LIKE. This is a forum to post what each individual likes & bets on their own. Not 1 person on here EVER said they had all the right horses & were the best handicapper. If all you 2 have to offer is insults, then take your asses somewhere else.

Ok..guys.. we appreciate all of your picks, input, and advice, -WE REALLY DO, but take a few moments and lets keep this a friendly forum where we can learn more about horses and how to better our handicapping skills.

Certainly there are already many places in the world where we can beat up each other. It is easy to get heated, but it takes a real pro to back away and stay focused on the game. Its the GAME we need to beat-nothing else.

Fair deal?

I have no problem with anyone ignoring my posts or suggestions, and I have been called worse to my face.
I am 54 years old and too old for games, and the other bettors I am trying to beat are the ones who bet wildly on longshots, colors, numbers, or throw a bet down just to be gambling. There are plenty of those types out there but very few of them in the forums.
I always learn more than I help others to learn and learn even more when corrected!

HEY STEVE,
EVEN THOUGH I THINK I WAS COMPLIMENTED A LONG WITH YOURSELF AND LONGSHOT LARRY,THIS WEB-SITE SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR CHALLENGES AND INSULTS.
IT SHOULD SERVE AS A FORUM, WHERE HOPEFULLY WE CAN ALL LEARN SOMETHING VALUABLE FROM ANOTHER MEMBER,THAT WE CAN TAKE TO THE CASHING WINDOW$
YOU SAID WHAT NEEDED TO BE SAID.
GOOD LUCK AND GOOD RACING

Whats nice about Steve's forum, is that everyone has the right to his or her opinion. There have been some great posts, and I have certainly learned a great deal from them. I am far from being a professional, and I am always looking for ways to improve my handicapping. Tampa Bay Downs is my home track, and it is the only meet that I play seriously! I do not play other tracks while TBD is running-much too exhausting!! Its only been a month old and already I am getting burned out!! 6 days a week of racing will do that. So, I envy all of you that have the energy to do well at multiple tracks. Good luck to everyone and let's keep this fun!!

I have only been a member for a few days and have enjoyed navigating the site. And I agree "lets keep it friendly". I was going to post my three selections at Santa Anita yesterday that I felt good about, however, I didn't because I was fearful of the pummeling about the head and shoulders as was exhibited in the first couple of posts. I am 75 going on a hundred and do not feel I want to expose myself to that kind of treatment. I will post my selections in the future because it looks as though the sentiment is live and let live. I make this pledge to all of you, My picks will be given a lot of thought and not arrived at by the monkey or other such method as I'm sure most of you do. Goofed the way I worded that. Meant you guys give your picks a lot of thought. Sorry for the length of this post, please forgive. By the way a flat bet on my three picks would have given nice roi profit.

Best regards to all
Elmer

PS There is a huge pick 6 carryover ( 0ver 750,000) at SA for Wednesday and the final will be well over a million. Can we all give each other some help as the syndicates and partnerships will be busy.

Drug rumors is a hot subject; selections is not that hot hopefully! I would rather win a pick 6 than try to make a few bucks guessing about which 99%+ are the legal horses!

Elmer,

Post those Picks!!! Welcome aboard. In fact, I will put a notice regarding picks on the opening page. I don't want anyone ashamed or embarrassed over picks. I will monitor that as best as possible. A typical happening is that we hit almost embarrassed and as soon as we post they all go south. It JUST happens. However, the internet has its own way of sorting out the bad selectors and the good ones. People who experience losers will simply continue looking for those posters who are consistent. Please don't worry. Looking forward to your picks. Just put them in the Free Pick area.
