Does anyone know what ever happened to Jockey Robbie Davis?Did he retire without any fanfare.?
Is he still in the game somewhere?
thanks T
"Johnson had a reputation for being tough on his jockeys. "After the race, he wouldn't say anything, but that next morning, you'd go in there and he'd shake you up,'' said the retired rider Robbie Davis. "He'd always keep you on your toes.""

He retired about my soph year in college ... about 8-9 years ago maybe 10.

he may have made a brief comeback a few years later at GP or one of the NY meets, but i think it was very brief if at all.
