In an amazing reversal of policy YOUBET.com refunded my $4000.00 wager Friday evening that I have written about here in previous posts....this came after three levels of admin at YOUBET ruled contrary that a wager mistake by cellphone cannot be rescinded despite a request to do so more than an hour prior to post at Hollywood Park.

This reversal of fortune occurred after a series of events which credited the efforts of TRACKWINNERS,THESHEETS,TRPB, The California Racing Commission,Hollywood Park Advance Deposit Wagering office and several clients of YOUBET.com who apparently moved substantial monetary sums from private YOUBET accounts in protest after reviewing the auditory record of the transaction with Hollywood Park and YOUBET.

I am very grateful for the support that TRACKWINNERS has shown me with this matter and have sent donations to: a) TRPB and b) The Jockey Club c) My own state lobby for stopping the senseless slaughter of older horses in thanks to everyones efforts. These organizations are crucial to the ethics and oversight of the sport and industry and I donate to these causes gratefully.

Again thank you all for allowing a wrong to be righted and hopefully future precedent to be set to protect the "advance deposit online wagering community"

That is great to hear. It gives one a bit more faith in a system based on trust, after all. Your donations were a classy way to express your thanks.tu?

Well, it's always good to know that some folks will make corrections!

I would like to know (probably no way to really know) ... how many folks did move how much money out of their system!

Jerfi!

Good for you. Although I would not give Youbet any credit. If not for pressure for the groups you mentioned I a sure you would have not gottten anywhere.
