Maybe I'm being cynical, didn't have it,so it's not sour grapes, but when was the last time any of you saw a 13-1 over an 8-1, key a $171.00 exacta ,with a 3-5 and 3-1 shot out of the money.?A 29-1 shot runs third and the triple pays $3912.00.BARBARO and BROTHER DEREK at 3-5 an 3-1 had to be on 95% of all exacta and triple tickets, yet the payout was paltry at best. What is the takeout in Maryland ?More then it should be.

GOD BLESS BARBARO

Anybody else think those exacta and trifecta payouts for the preakness
were extremely low?
I finally hit a good one,by leaving both Barbaro and Brother Derek off my tickets, and this is all I collect?
Oh well,I will still take what I can get, but, come one!!!
My prayers go out to the recovery of Barbaro.

With the track as fast as it was (5 wire jobs), most surprising of the finishers was Brother Derek's poor showing on such a speed-favoring track, but any large payoff on any major bias track in itself does not surprise me.
Also a big surpeise is that in spite of Stronach's proven record of sealing and speeding up tracks it was not anticipated.
What was the combines number of career races for the Derby and Preakness winner, 9?
How many colts who were eligible missed the Ky Derby this year due to injury?

Barabaro...still a winner!

The pre-Belmont show will no doubt revolve around Barbaro.

His insurance covers all.

No matter what he does, he comes up a winner.

What more can I say?

Welcome to the year 2006!

Good luck!ds:

With 25% taken out and most of the respected touts telling you that #8 and #7 were the exacta based on "racing cycle" and the "Bounce" this payout is what it should have been.....the trick was to wheel the Tri with both above and get the 3900 for 2 odds.....

Too high a profile race to steal from the public take a look at the handle and compare to Derby and it will make sense
