Haven't been to the site in a while,unfortunately started a new job....If this has been mentioned before please excuse the repetition... Last Saturday's first race at Santa Anita was a field of six horses the winner paid $59.00 and the show $139.20 the other two horses paid $42.20 and $60.20 for a two dollar bet .The favorite was forth and the tote board lightbulbs were changed after the race was declared official.. It is extremely important whenever possible to watch the board in place and show pools. Many times a 3/5 favorite may be a better value for place than win...and if a large sum is bet to show in a small field strange things happen...Horses are not machines although the favorites beyers were far superior than any other horses in that race there was plenty of value in the show and place pools so betters beware...This is especially useful if you can watch the tote online,,,How this idea can help in the future..good luck
