here's some angles i try to play when they pop up:

- maiden 3 year olds whose last was a 3&up and are coming back to a 3 year old *only* race. (love this angle!!!)

- any first turfer whose last race was on dirt at 7F. (this one is a little more complicated, i particualarly like this angle if the horse showed some early speed and packed it in @ 7F).

- speed stretching out. particularly if it's a 6F winner whose stretching out 2 turns. works well on both dirt and turf. like it more on turf though.

- i'll play any horse dropping from msw to mcl, no matter how bad a showing in msw. don't care what the odds board says.

- any horses making big class jumps forward (particularly open clm's) after showing any speed in previous.

------

track angles:

- any msw or mcl AQU invaders from GP. don't care how they did at GP. horses shipping from GP to AQU have owned the last couple of months.

- any Ferrer mount on the turf at TAM. the longer the better.

just a couple that have worked in the last couple of months.

I really like to try the 3 +up to 3 angle!

I like that angle too. Also try 3 year olds, first time lasix, going 7 fur or>, with blinkers, and low percentage jock. If you can find these, it will pay good for win or place.a:

A couple of angles that can pay off:
Horse returning in less than 14 days with a surface switch provided he has been successful on that surface before. 2nd time maiden starter that showed early speed-no matter where he finished!! Wide running horse-check the comments-that has been burdened with inside posts-now has an outside post..

I have had some decent luck with horses using new equipment{i.e.blinkers} and first time lasix users. I know this is not a new theory but it just seems to have helped me so I watch it very closel.

In MSW...I look hard at 2nd starters in races for young horses particularly if they showed decent speed on their first try....but here is the thing: it doesn't particularly apply to maiden claimers. These "for sale" horses generally have no talent. Many times because they had some tactical speed in their first claimer....they are overbet in these sorry races. look for droppers.
