Did everyone see Calvin waving at the crowd right after the 1/8 pole while he was drawing off down the lane to win by a staggering 20 1/4 lengths.
That was funny as all get out and pretty cool.
She might meet males following the Triple Crown races at Saratoga and I'm looking forward to a possible showdown with champion older female Zenyatta later this year in the Breeders' Cup.

Jess Jackson and Harold T. McCormick have purchased Rachel Alexandra.
Word is they might supplement her for a $100,000 to run in the Preakness.
She had a 108 on Friday on about the same track, Bird had 105 for the Derby.
Wonder if the Azzman will train her or if Jess will make some other messed up decision. I'm sure he will be calling the shots.
He should just take her and breed her to Curlin right now.

Art, you are probably right about the track, I was just trying to get some sort of comparison.
If she goes, Calvin will ride her and Mike Smith will be on the Bird

I Think That Steve Asmussen Will Train Her & Scott Blasi Will Take Care Of Her Being Hands On...if They Run Her In The Preakness It Woudnt Be Steves Idea Only Jess Jackson Would Be Stupid To Call That Shot..
Hey "dan" What Do U Think After Standing Next To Me When I Was Talking To Asmussen In The Paddock The Day We Were At Saratoga

GIVE Your Guess
I will guess 12.5 mil.
108 to 105 is the first time the Oaks winner has received a better fig than the Derby winner.
I think Calvin should stay aboard the Bird.
No jockey has ever taken off a Derby winner to ride a different horse in the Preakness. The last time a jockey abandoned a Derby winner for his next race was in 1985, when Angel Cordero Jr. gave up a mount on Spend a Buck in the Jersey Derby in order to ride Track Barron in the Metropolitan Handicap the same day. In 1945, Eddie Arcaro won the Derby on Hoop Jr., but Al Snider rode Hoop Jr. one week later in the Preakness, when Arcaro opted to ride that day at Belmont Park.
I think Jess will run to try to recoup some of that purchase price right away

I love these old story's and you will never read this stuff in the paper.
Should of figured you were there, LOL
Now I'm thinking Robby might get the mount and Calvin will stay put.
If she wins the Preakness, Jess can bred Preakness winner to Preakness winner.
What if she takes the next two legs or maybe it will be a shocker if she comes in second in the next two.

Re:the Purchase Price>>>
I Thought I Could Find Out But As Of Now Its A Well Kept Secret..
I Myself Would Think That She Would Bring $10-20 Million..
However, the More I Think About It I Think The Whole Thing Is Ridiculous!!!!!
