i really am interested in watching the pampalmouse run again. see if he really needs the front or if he can layoff the pace. he really looks like a strong horse.
old fashion look impressive last time out
stardom bound is probably my fav. horse. be interested to see what she can do on dirt or if she is another synthetic only horse.
nice artical about general quarters on the drf for friday. feel good story but not in the same caliber as these.

This season’s class of 3-year-olds is starting to look as if it could be outstanding. It’s too early, of course, to reach any conclusions.
My updated list as of today, of course this will change in the coming weeks, In order:
1. Old Fashioned - Returned in good fashion in Southwest; Rebel is next
2. The Pamplemousse - He's a front-running beast on the Pro-Ride
3. Quality Road - Drew off in the FOY. Fl Derby or Wood as his 2 turn test.
4. Dunkirk - Jumps into the mix off huge allowance win and pedigree angle
5. Desert Party - Recorded 2 big wins in the desert this winter
6. Haynesfield - Will make graded debut in Gotham
7. Imperial Council - Looking forward to his stakes bow in Gotham
8. Theregoesjojo - Stock rises with Fountain of Youth runner-up
9. Pioneerof The Nile - Will have to run big to catch #2 in the Santa Anita Derby.
10. Friesan Fire - Risen Star winner, gives Larry two chips in the game
11. Flying Pegasus - Strong runner-up effort from post 12 in Risen Star
12. Chocolate Candy - Has the look of a live longshot off his back to back stake wins
13. Hello Broadway - Tagg trainee needs a good showing in Tampa Bay Derby
14. Patena - Dutrow trainee is pointing toward La Derby
15. Beethoven - Washed out badly in the paddock for the FOY and still ran pretty well.
16. West Side Bernie - Ran well against bias from outside post in Holy Bull
17. Giant Oak - He lost no respect with effort in trouble-plagued Risen Star
18. Papa Clem - Can't wait to see him on dirt.
19. Mr. Hot Stuff - Colonel John’s little brother, actually galloped out beyond The Pamplemousse
20. General Quarters - Battles Hello Broadway next off very legit win.

Are you overlooking DONATIVUM
No, he is on my top 100 list, but there are so many good horses this year and I can only list 20 at a time since that is all that will get in.
This list is just for today (03-02-09) and will surely change.
I'm waiting for his next race, he might turn out to be a top turf horse.

DONATIVUM
I'm waiting for his next race
Don't know if he will race in Kentucky Derby Challenge Stakes at London's Kempton Race Course. Whoever wins that race will get an automatic bid into the Kentucky Derby if it's accepted, then the top 19 in earnings will have first priority to enter and start in the Derby.

Kentucky Derby Challenge Stakes
New this year, for the first time, the Kentucky Derby Challenge Stakes to be run March 18th at London's Kempton Race Course over a polytrack surface. The winner will get an automatic bid to the Kentucky Derby.
Irish-based Aidan O'Brien has a trio of possibilities in "Born to be King", "Chief Lone Eagle" and "Great Wisdom".
Trainer John Gosden has four horses nominated to the Kentucky Derby and might run them in the Challenge Stakes, they are "Close Alliance", "Mafaaz", "Nawaadi" and "Red Spider"
Trainer John Best said he is pointing "Deposer", fourth to
then-stablemate Square Eddie in the Lane's End Breeders'
Futurity (GI) to the race at Kempton. "Deposer" is not yet nominated to the American Triple Crown.
The Queen has a horse that might make the race "Free Agent"
"Donativum" might show up, I'll try to post the entries as soon as there up or people can search for them:
