I'm hoping anyway!
I checked and in addition to peaking and winning on turf and the biggest polytrack race so far of anyone, his pedigree has turf on the female side and both sprint and distance on the male side (his dad won the Ky Cup Sprint and the 1 3/16 King's Bishop- his uncle is Ghostzapper!!

with the race in Dubai, i have to say on talent alone he is probably the best. If they follow the right path he should prevail. That's a big ?.

This horses just wins But a big plus was his last race where they rated him off the pace and he won easier than the race before ......... Also in the Derby you have those crazy owners who run there horse crazy fast early in hope they can can last and to say there horse lead in the derby before finishing in the parking lot like they did last year ....... Lawer Ron has to rate in the derby and not have to go ten wide coming for home ....... both of these things are inportant in this race because of some many horses and the crazy one looking for the life time moment ............. Yes i know to many words >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

...Based on the races I've seen.. The best movements were by Discreet Cat and Lawyer Ron..Factoring in the travel from Saudi Arabia and the need to acclimate to a new track puts Discreet Cat at a big disadvantage. As much as the Saudis have converted Petrol dollars into big $$$ horse flesh they still have alluded the Big Win of any of the Triple Crown races...Therefore by process of elimination Lawyer Ron has the best chance based on the ones we have seen and his two dimensional running style......When the Run for the Roses goes that 1st Saturday in May anything can happen big field, bad posts, and traffic can make or break any horses success...Good Luck Lawyer Ron your owner will be watching you from heaven above.....

I am pulling for Lawyer Ron for Mr. Hines who finally got his "derby horse".

Point Determined is my choice. He is peaking at the right time. His last race showed good early speed with enough stamina to make a run at the winner. With another race under his belt before the Derby he will be well prepared. Remember his sire Point Given once he settled down none of the others had the speed tp match him.
