With A City Lane's End winner!

Since my wife loves the longshots, I'm, posting to compare With A City woth recent KY Derby winners:

Real Quiet- won maiden its 12th try, sold for $17,000= WAC better;
Charismatic- claimer= WAC more valuable;
Funny Cide- won only NY state-breds= WAC won classier race;
Giacomo- only win MD, 50-1 in Derby= WAC won LE (and at lower odds).
Smarty Jones- major head injury= WAC in good physical condition.;
So With A City now has accomplished more than 5 KY Derby winners in the past 10 years had at this point in their "lucky" years!!

The field of that Turfway was not a Grade 2 calibre. Lawyer Ron, Brother Derek or Barbaro would destroy anyone in that field by 5 lengths on any track. How many of those horses in the Lane's End will make the Derby (3 maybe?)

...how many make it... This prep has been a true prep in purse and status only... I think the last horse that did anything in this prep in the triple crown would have been Summer Squall years and years ago... that was when Turfway still occasionally could draw a field... It's a great opportunity for a mediocre horse to get a fat check.. The top finishers most likely will make up part of the Field entry in the Derby and get violated at CD. rofl

they need to up the field next year, with a city finished dead last in ARK derby, and sadly is now dead.
