The Apathy Continues
Please to treat me as an individual, and not a number. Consider what I like, and what I don't care for so much. Check my past and find when I excelled, and if I can excel today. Credit my present owners, but I do the running. Be excited to see me run, win or lose. I am a thoroughbred race horse, trapped in my body, put here to entertain you (I suppose) but I have a life too.
Don't fill my body with medications, unless I am ill and in need. Get a second Doc to look me over sometimes! Let me out every day, never fail in that, please. Jog me if you will, a walk may be fine the day after my race, or two or three days after my race. You saw me run, how was I?
My shoe came loose the other day, felt like a back foot. My front foot has a quarter crack, but don't forget the other three! Gosh, just think, I ran with that loose shoe in the most important race of my life....... Today, after a period of time following my last race, I was looking forward to a light workout, over my favorite surface. The track super wouldn't let me, so I ran on the main track. Someone suggested it could have been arranged had my trainer thought ahead past the end of his nose, I dunno, he seems ok sometimes, when I win.

I am scared and shaking in my hooves to race against Curlin.
I hope my owners keep ducking him so I don’t have to be humiliated.

Is anybody going to try and beat Big Brown today in the Monmouth Stakes 09-13-08?
Does anybody know the condition of the turf course?
The three horses I think have a chance are Sliver Tree, Proudinsky, and Drum Major. Kiss the Kid should be on the lead and he might hold on for a piece of it.
I think I'm going to play Drum Major to place. Might change at post time.

Turf Should Be Soft
Thanks Steven, Nobody knows how Brown will run on soft turf but he might really like it because of his tender feet.
Proudinsky likes the soft stuff too
