Better check the Jess Jackson Poll on Bloodhorse to see where he is going next. What a joke, like they are really going to do what the fans say.

Yeah, I got a kick out of that too.
I would like to make my vote in the "other" section:
Stick him in as a ringer for a 20-1 ML in a 10k claimer at Ellis, and get rich
on the even money mutuel return. Ha ha!

Steve Asmussen has reserved 15 stalls at Santa Anita. It remains to be seen if one of them will be the autumn home for BC Classic candidate Curlin, but track officials confirmed that Curlin's owner, Jess Jackson, has visited Santa Anita to personally inspect the synthetic surface.

A little more than 24 hours after winning Saturday's Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont Park, the 2007 North American Horse of the Year and current world-ranked No. 1 had arrived at Santa Anita and was led off a van and into stall No. 21 of barn 27, the same barn that was home to two-time BC Classic winner Tiznow.
The world’s best horse on dirt might or might not be best on faux dirt. "We’re going to see how he likes it," said Steve Asmussen and if Curlin, with his training, gives the surface his approval, then he’ll take on Big Brown in the Classic.
If Duke of Marmalade, Commentator, and Zenyatta would show up for the party I think it could be the greatest Classic ever, deservedly so, for the 25th running.
I can't wait for the next four weeks to go by. We should have some more answers about who is in and who's not in the next couple weeks.

One thing that worries me now is that Big Brown might not show up. Dutrow said yesterday “I was happy to see what I saw yesterday with Curlin, and I can’t wait to get out there and put Big Brown in the gate.”
That statement comming from big mouth azzhole Dutrow concerns me, makes me think they are still ducking Curlin, because if they can't wait to race they should of already been there. Now that Curlin is waiting on him and Dutrow is an idiot, he should have done the same thing as the Curlin people did and ship Big Brown to Santa Anita right after his race to get some work over the track. Neither one of them have a race over the track and they need to get some good works in before the big dance. Dutrow thinks or he is trying to sell the idea that he can fly in there the day before the race and win it easy.

I think it could be the greatest Classic ever
So, as of now, those under consideration for the Classic are Curlin, Big Brown, Well Armed, Go Between, Colonel John, Tiago, Fairbanks, Student Council, Spirit One, Casino Drive, and possibly Duke of Marmalade, Henrythenavigator, and New Approach from Europe (I really don’t see Commentator or Zenyatta running, but I guess you never know). If all run, that would give the Classic the winners of this year’s Kentucky Derby, Preakness, Dubai World Cup, Jockey Club Gold Cup, Woodward, Travers, Whitney, Pacific Classic, Stephen Foster, Arlington Million, Florida Derby, Ohio Derby, English Derby, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes, Irish Champion Stakes, Juddmonte International, English 1,000 Guineas, Irish 1,000 Guineas, St. James’s Palace Stakes, and Prince of Wales’s Stakes, not to mention last year’s Breeders’ Cup Classic and Preakness winner. Now that’s what you call too good to be true.

Well, hands up, the Classic has just been robbed. I knew there was a good chance Brown wouldn't show up whatever the reason.
Changed my plans for the BC, now I won't show up.

Just saw Curlin's work at SA live on TVG.
He got over the surface pretty well, I thought.
Five eighths in 59 and change, breezing.
I'd give it an A-....his ears were pinned back a bit.
Looked like he had plenty to give if he was asked the question, though.
Definitely looks more at ease on the artificial than on the turf, but hard to know for sure.......
