THE WISE MEN JOINED AND CONTINUE TO BE A PART OF THE TW FAMILY FOR ONE REASON.TO MAKE MONEY,HAVE FUN AND INTERACT WITH THE MEMBERS OF TW.WE DONT OWN THIS SITE OR RUN THIS SITE.WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OR WHO JOINS OR GETS TOSEED.WE APOLOGIZE TO ANYBODY--EXCEPT THE OTHER PARTIES INVOLVED YESTERDAY IF ANYONE THINKS WE WERE OUT OF LINE.FROM TIME TO TIME DAN AND I WILL TALK OFF TOPIC OR NONSENSE,BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS--WE DO IT ON ONE THREAD AND THE MAJORITY OF THE TIME WE POKE GOOD NATURED FUN AT EACH OTHER OR WITH OUR FRIENDS.THE IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE IS THAT---WE KEEP IT TO ONE THREAD AND WE CAN TAKE IT AS WELL AS WE CAN DISH IT.EVERY MORNING WE COME ON TW AND HAVE TO SIFT THROUGH MULTIPLE THREADS ABOUT BODY PARTS,GOING TO THE BATHROOM AND ALL KINDS OF FICTITIOUS NONSENSE JUST TO GET TO A HORSE RELATED TOPIC THREAD.IN OUR OPINION IT IS JUST RIDICULOUS.MOST OF THE TIME WE IGNORE IT.SOMETIMES IT IS HARD TO NOT RESPOND THE WAY WE DID YESTERDAY.YOU CANNOT START THE FIRE AND THEN THROW YOUR HANDS UP WHEN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT COMES AND PRETEND YOU DIDNT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.THIS IS A HORSE RACING SITE,NOT A PERSONAL CHAT ROOM TO TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING EXCEPT HORSE RACING.THE WISE MEN FEEL THAT WE ARE RESPECTFUL,HELPFUL AND A COUPLE OF DECENT GUYS.ITS HARD FOR US TO ZIP OUR MOUTHS SHUT WHEN PEOPLE ACT LIKE SOME OTHERS AROUND HERE DO.MOST OF ALL WE ALWAYS MAN UP 100 PERCENT OF THE TIME--RIGHT OR WRONG.NOW IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION PUBLICLY AND PRIVATELY THAT A COUPLE MEMBERS WANT US OFF THIS SITE.IN OUR EYES---NOTHING IS WORSE THEN GOING TO THE PRINCIPAL WHEN YOU HAVE A DISPUTE.WE DID NOT PM OR E-MAIL ANYONE LOOKING FOR HELP OR COMPLAINING.IN THE FUTURE WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO NOT RESPOND TO THE MISTERS LIKE WE DID YESTERDAY.IN CLOSING--WE ARE NOT BULLIES OR LITTLE KIDS JUST POSTING TO GET PEOPLE ANNOYED.WE RESENT THE ACCUSATIONS MADE AGAINST US.

Hey guys dont change a thing you bring a joy and fun to the site that i for one would miss there is a place for non horse raceing materal and they should use it so we dont have to sift through garbage to get race related things Keep up the good work and have fun

Hey guys I (we all know) that the DRF is your Bible when it comes to capping. How long does it take you to do a daily card? and is it your intent to beat the races favorite each time? and what is your top 3 things about a horse that you see in the DRF that has you put a win bet/place /bet show bet any or all? or is it strictly win? Is there short-cuts in each race that causes you to toss a horse? what are some of these? Do you get faster at doing a card? Is chalk like kissing your sister? Ok to do but not as thrilling as a kiss could be. Depending on the results of this post I'll try and ask some other race related questions. Not trying to play dumb here just curious as how it is done. It takes me a good 1/2 hour to capp 1 race w/DRF. Thanks RC.

DO WE HAVE A MISSION STATEMENT? Do you ever wonder what the pioneers of this site had in mind when it was started? I have a feeling it was not about EGOS, BODY PARTS of both humans and animals. It was probably about furthering the sport we claim to love sooooo much. Not whether I'm the best capper in the world and maybe even on TW,s. Cliques can and do KILL many many great endeavors whether in sports, in neighborhoods, schools, OTB's, etc. When certain people start excluding others whether on purpose or not, then the organization starts to go down hill. Sometimes you do not even realize your in a clique until someone from the outside lets you know. When I always have to have the biggest dog on the block no matter how big your dog is, then we have conflicts thAt lead to personal attacks. Don't believe me then look at other similiar sites. We've seemed to have lost focus on what most of us want. Just look at the participation of the contests. Look at the participation in general. Unless it's for Steve's money many on this site are never heard from. We need to start letting our moderators and leaders know what it is we would like to see in order to have more participation and exchanging of ideas. Jerks weed themselves out unless we feed their ego's. Sometimes a no response to off the wall ideas is the best medicine. Banning can be done and I've seen it on this site before. It's frustrating when you see something that is damaging or controversal that takes away from this site and feel you have no power to stop it or even ignore it. We just need to readdress what it is that we want to see here. I'd love to know how to cash more tickets. Most of you know how that can be done. ARE you willing to share it? HOPE SO.

Hey Richie---you Can Post On Our Threads Anytime You Want. I Think You Have Brought Up Some Excellent Points.jerfi And I Spend Endless Hours Putting Up Contests,claim Boxes And Re-checking Scores.we Dont Get Paid.we Do It Because We Love This Site.everytime We Ask For Input We Get Very Little Or No Response.the Feedback Around Here Is Horrible.dan And I Have Put Up Money And Prizes Out Of Our Own Pockets And Still Their Isnt A Lot Of Participation.imho--we Have A Twofold Problem On This Site.first Is---what Can Be Done To Garner More Interest From The Members And The Lurkers.easier Said Than Done.secondly--what Kind Of Posts Are Posted On This Site.i Am Guilty At Times Of Taking Things Too Far,but It Is Frustrating To See Certain People Post Nonsense Just To Get A Reaction Or To Satisfy Their Own Immature Humor.in My Eyes--if Thats The Only Thing You Contribute Then You Are On The Wrong Site.i Think Everyone Is Entitled To An Opinion, Be It Horse Racing Or Off Topic,but When An Opinion Starts To Sound Like A Jimmy Jones Koolaid Rally Or A Scientology Meeting Its Utterly Ridiculous.the Bottom Line Imo Is--anybody Who Doesnt Contribute To This Site In A Positive Way--doesnt Deserve A Vote Or An Opinion.

I could not agree more. Be nice to purge the membership roles ever once in a while to get rid of the non participators. Back to basics might be the answer imo but then again everyone has one.
